Hello readers of Imperfectly Perfect Grace!
My name is Krystal and I’m coming to you from the blog, Adventure Darling.
Ever since Shannon asked me to do a guest post on here, I’ve been so delighted! I just love this blog and how inspiring it is. Her message here is awesome, “Although each of us are imperfect, we are covered in grace, and with that we can make progress.” She uses herself as an example so that we’re comforted and don’t feel alone. Yay to Shannon’s beautiful heart and great writing!
Shannon said that I could write about anything I wanted. What came to me was something I was recently reminded of. It’s the tendency we have to always want more. The reminder emerged from a source that I wasn’t expecting. It was from the movie, Oz the Great and Powerful. Basically, Oz is shown that he’s always had everything he’s ever wanted. In our world, it’s so easy to get caught up in wanting more-more-more! When are we going to be centered around being blessed-blessed-blessed? There’s always at least one thing, if not many, to be thankful for EVERDAY. Wouldn’t it be so cool to see advertisements for being grateful for what we already have? Instead we see advertisement after advertisement on what to buy. The other day, I was asked what the happiest moments of my life have been. Most of my answers reflected the fact that I liked the adventure leading up to achievements more than the achievements themselves. I believe it’s good to hope and plan for our future. However, along the way we should find appreciation for the moment we’re currently in. Even Dr. God recommends several servings of thankfulness a day. It will do a soul good!
Well, thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed. Please feel free to check out my blog.
God bless! www.adveturedarlings.blogspot.com
