So how was the weekend for ya? Did you jump on beds and have pillow fights with your kid?
I DID!
Jay and I had our own photo shoot this weekend and it was sooo fun!! If you know
Jay and I, or read here often, you might notice that he and I enjoy hangin' at home just being
together. Home is a big part of our life. We school at home, cuddle at home, cook at home...
we do our life primarily in our home! Because of that, I felt what a better place to document
the reality of us than in our home! We were so blessed to have an opportunity to work with
such an amazing photographer and I can't wait to see our photos!
We did church in our living room a lot this week and on Sunday also. Sunday Jay and I talked
about Psalm 34 piece by piece and were both so encouraged by the promises it holds!
We also made a fort, drank coca cola, snuggled, watched movies, and laughed at silly jokes!
In other news can I just tell you that girlfriends are a gift from God! I'm sure that many of you
already know this but let me just tell you that last week I was blessed big time by various women
who are in my life! It's so cool that each of my friends are so different, but all have a common loving
heart. I've got friends to laugh with, cry with, be inspired from, drink a cocktail with, spill my guts to, or
to who will just sit with me....
friends that listen, friends that tell me what to do next....I'm just covered no matter what the situation
calls for....I've got someone, and for that I'm thankful!
and last but certainly not least....
Have you guys caught on to Overcome the Lie yet!? It's seriously legit you guys! If you don't know
Ashley and her team you honestly NEED TO!!! Each day I look forward to the unique way Ashley
is going to lead me into deeper relationship with Jesus. I love the way God is asking her to speak
to us about growing closer to him. It's pretty fabulous!
