Ok so I don't expect you to be nearly as excited as I am....
buttttttt I did go .com with my blog and yes, I'm pretty darn excited about it!
That little change makes you feel "legit" you know :)
Linking to the new .com was nearly the death of me but thankfully after 2 days of attempts,
and numerous unhelpful tutorials I finally found a you tube video that walked me through
everything!
Today I wanted to share with you a fun thing that my son actually led us through the other day.
Not to long ago I purchased the Triple Dog Dare- One year of dynamic devotionals for boys
for my son. Let me just say that if you have an active boy around the ages of 7-12 I would get
this for them! The way the devotionals line up for boys to be able to compare the devotionals to
real life is great, and each day there is a "dare" of sorts to help you get the concept or practice
the point of the devotional.
So one morning we read the daily devotional, but at that time didn't do the "dare" that went along with it.
Later that day my son randomly asked me to write down, in his words "everything that is wrong with you"
I definitely thought this was a strange request, but decided to go for it. I wrote a few and so did he.

The next step was to crush that list! To know that what we wrote down is not the truth! We talked about
improving vs. believing the lies that are sometimes given to us about ourselves. After crushing those lies both
he and I played soccer with those pieces of paper all around the house! We laughed and yelled out that we
were good and loved!

It was so awesome to see Jay take the initiative to go through this activity and it was fun that he included me
in it with him! Isn't it cool how sometimes doing those physical acts of "breaking things off" yourself really
lightens you, and changes your heart!
