Ohh so thankful on a Friday

These types of posts used to be much more frequent, and while the thought behind them is always there I haven't dedicated much blog space to sharing some of the things that have currently made me 

"ohhh so thankful"

You might remember {probably not} that it really doesn't take much to move me to the feeling of thankfulness. Especially lately!  I recently heard that the quickest way out of a bad day is to drown yourself in your blessings, and really how true is that! 

This week while waking up Jayden I say "good morning love" to which I heard the most sweet voice reply "good morning mama"my heart exploded! No joke! Waking up Jay can either go one of two ways...It's either a loud "whatttt!!!?!" or it's a sweet good morning and usually the call to come cuddle before he gets up from bed. My moments with him...his sweet little voice are such sweet treats and treasures.

Thankful for the cashier at the store who spotted me a buck when I was $1.00 short buying lunch on the way to work. My total was $20.98. I had a $20. After a "crap" came out of my mouth I asked if I could put one of my bananas back to make the total go down. I was on my way to work and didn't have time to run back out to the car for more money. She replied that it was all good and that I could go ahead and go. I couldn't believe it! After many thank you's and mentions of hugging I took my stuff and left, with a thankful heart.

I'm thankful that life has asked me to slow down and re-evaluate. Thankful that I've chosen to listen to that request. Thankful that I get a do over. Time to stop for a minute, listen to God and then move with him. I'm thankful that I'm in a place to see that I want more of him, and I'm moving towards that. Thankful that He's so big and loves me so much. Thankful that he works miracles, thankful that he's with me.

Thankful once again that I see how much my family and friends truly love me, support me and stand with me through it all. Your love and help blesses me to the bottom of my heart!
