Reality is always extraordinary...#2

Well hello!! Yes, it's been a bit since I've shown up here and I had a post ready share with you about that exact subject....this is until these photos showed up in my inbox! The priority of showing them to you took first place over talking about what I've been doing lately!! I've titled a blog post"Reality is always extraordinary"
one time before, when I shared with you the photos Jay and I had done while we were hangin' out at home.

I chose to use this title again because although the look of these photos is a bit different {yes I do just so happen to be on top of a hill in heeled boots, and yes Jayden did decide to comb his hair extra special to go on this hill, and yes the lighting just so happens to be amazing} the reality of what these photos hold is still the same.

That's the important part here...not the clothes, or the light...but the relationship....the moments.

"Reality is always extraordinary" is a quote by Mary Ellen Mark that I've loved since I read it a long time ago.
When I read that I felt it expressed so clearly the way that I saw and felt life. I'm convinced that the richest times in our lives are not in the major events...but of the tiny moments we are blessed with eachandeveryday. There is always so much going on within our daily life picture.

Tiny, split second moments that are nothing short of amazing!

The moment where you share a laugh with someone you love, and see the joy in their face. The moment where you snuggle someone that you love to the ends of the earth and back. The moment your son grabs on to you and doesn't want to let go....

Those are the true treasures we are given each day....the looks, the embraces, the feelings, the time.
