Started blogging?
A few years ago I went through this journey. The short version is that my family and I had basically no
home and zero money. It was crazy, it was hard, and many times not a ton of fun.
But, began to "see" this experience as something more than just the circumstances.
This time in my life was what I called imperfectly perfect!
Having no home and no money is definitely NOT PERFECT,
but whatwas perfect about it were the lessons, the moments and the growth that came out of that time.
I began to see that most of life is this way.
Nothing is ever perfect, but we do get blessed with a unique version of an Imperfectly Perfect life.
When you know and trust that through the crap of life you're in some way being blessed, even if
you can't see it at that time. I feel you can make it through the tough times easier. It's proved true
for me, so I felt called to pass that message along.
After blogging for a short time I felt that this blog was also to be a place of transparency.
I place for community.
I have had many moments in life when I have wondered,
"am I the only one who thinks this, feels this, does this,fails at this?"
I've felt alone.
I'm the girl you would find using google, or reading a book in search of finding someone else out
there who thought, felt and failed like I did.
Recently I felt as if God asked me to be someone who stood in the gap.
A woman who stood out publicly and said, "this is what i'm good at, and this is what I'm not so good at"
A woman who will share with you all the good she has in her heart and also show you those parts of
her that still need refining.
I blog to give you comfort. I blog so that you will know you're not alone.
I blog so that the veil of perfection I sometimes so want to wear, will not fit.
Although each of us is imperfect, we are covered in grace, and with that we can make progress.
Each day aiming to step forward, and to view ourselves and our lives as
Imperfectly Perfect...because of Grace
