Oh hey!! Happy Monday to ya! This Monday is a little bit of an extra special one for me....you wanna know why?
It's mybirthday today!!! {{happy dance!!}}
Yep....today is my first day of rocking the crappp out of being a 32 year old!
I haven't hit the point of not enjoying getting "older". I'm still sticking with the motto that I'm improving with age. I've also got a 70 plus year old granny that I tend to take after who is still rocking it, looking and feeling great...which possibly causes me to worry tooo much!
I think the biggest thing for me with this birthday, is it's another milestone for me. It's a new beginning, which is something I'm growing to enjoy more and more with each one I experience. This is the first time I'll be having a birthday without a husband, which means this is the time to create a whole new way of doing birthdays! It's another transition into new life. An opportunity to close old doors and create new memories for me to stand and build my life on, and I AM stinkin'excitedaboutthat!

So, with today being a Monday and schedules being all over the place official celebratory measures will be taking place in a few weeks. Once again {{happy dance!!}} I am sooo excited!!! So excited to be with friends, enjoy them, laugh with them, create new memories with them....and YES new dresses, and high heels are definitely in order for this celebration!

((sigh)) you guys, things in my life are not perfect...but I'm genuinely joyful and happy with my life, and the people who are in it. This night will be a night of celebrating friendships. The ones that I've newly acquired and those that I've had for years. These friendships and people have been such a large part of what's helped to carry my through the nasty times...the not so fun times...and so for that, and so much more....
we shall celebrate!!
