It's time to say it again..

I think it's pretty safe to say that nearly all of us bloggers have said something similar to what I'm about so say a time or two before. I know this isn't my first time sharing thoughts similar to what I'm about to share today, but even if this is somewhat of a repeat, to me it still is very much worth saying.
This blogging community is something that continues to blow me away, and bless me deeply.

When I set out almost two years ago and started this blog {wait, that's kinda crazy in itself right!? Two years!?} the thought never crossed my mind that I'd make a friend...or friends. I didn't know that was a "thing"

Although my intention with this blog was to build community, my thought was that this blog would serve as a place for others, not so much myself. I hoped to be a friend for others, but didn't expect or think friendships would be something that formed...again I didn't know that was a "thing"

I didn't know that there were different blogging "ponds" and that some of them were stalked full of the most genuine, giving, selfless and loving women you could ever know....

I've somehow found myself in a pond such as the one I just spoke of.

I find it incredible to see women with already full lives, who choose to still reach their hands out, invest time, resources and energy into people they've most likely never made eye contact with. Where we fall on the map in comparison to one another has no bearing.

It's amazing to see a community so for one another. I've heard stories of diapers appearing on doorsteps or gift cards being given for groceries. I've seen on multiple occasions where people put their money where their mouth is and rally together for someone with their wallets.

Countless emails and texts are being sent to one another just to check in and up on one another. Prayers are being said on behalf of the lives and situations of others, and yes the snap chats that are sent to make one another giggle!

It's beautiful to watch the selflessness, the giving. to see genuine friendships form and so many women saying yes to doing life together, when they could so easily say  no....it's overwhelming when it's you who experiences a form of any of it.

I've been blessed to experience everything I've just talked about. I am completely honored by you women who have stepped in so many ways, shapes and forms to encourage, help, enhance, or bless my life in one way or another. Thank you the thoughts, the messages, the prayers, the cards, the gifts, and for the individual way or ways you've done life with me up to this point. I truly cherish and am blown away by it.
