You might remember me, I'm the girl who used to blog here before life got all crazy on me!
Well here I am again!

I did the very thing that I never really knew could actually happen, I fell off the blogging bus.
I couldn't really understand those posts that would begin, "I can't believe it's been X amount of time since I've written" or "I've been so busy that I haven't had time to write".
Really, I couldn't understand how it wasn't "possible" to write a stinkin' blog post.
I now get it!
I feel like you all are my friends, so when it's been a while since we've "talked" I don't quite know where to begin. What do I tell you first?
Welllll, probably the biggest reason that I've neglected this dear blog is because I work now!
Yeah, the home schooling, stay at home, Martha Stewart wannabe turned working girl.
You kinda gotta do things like that when your bank balance says 0!
So thankfully I've been hooked up again when it comes to finding a job that works perfect for me and the stage of life that I'm in. You guys might have guessed, but up until recently I planned on my job title being that of "mom" and "wife" so
I never went out and prepared for the mega career or bought a power suit.
I was happy being at home caring for my family. It's what my heart felt best doing.

Butttt, if you read here on occasion you'll know that I no longer hold one of those titles and so life has since changed.
So what am I doing now all day? Well the answer is
lots of things!
I never find myself in what you'd call "girly jobs". Sure I'm technically the "office girl" but that title has led me to adventures like assisting to bleed braking systems in cars while up in the air on lifts and most recently being lifted into the air (to heights of what felt like 500 feet) in a tree cutting lift so that I could take aerial photos for the newest company that's given me the title of "office girl"
{I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to get up in this crazy machine!}
I have the best time working in these types of environments. People in these industries work hard, and are some of the best people that you'll ever meet, so for that I couldn't be happier to be hangin' around with them.
So let's just end this post with a quick heart check-in shall we. I'm sure a whole blog post can and will be devoted to that, but in the meantime I'll just say that it's healing quite nicely. I'm happy. I'm full.
I'm full steam ahead into the next phase in my life and I'm stoked on it! It's good, like better than good!
