Well it looks like the Friday trend of feelin' all good continues for me! Monday through Thursday try to give me a lot of grief...but I've dominated the last two Fridays! I don't know if it's the combo of knowing that I always have more money on Friday combined with knowing it's time to take a little break for the next few days just makes me feel better, or what exactly it is...but all I know is these awesome Fridays can definitely keep occurring....in fact they are welcome to start beginning earlier and continuing on past Friday!
So first let's just talk about you ok!? I am beyond thankful for you sweet little readers friends. Thank you for reading, commenting, and hangin' with me. Thank you for praying, texting, and just being with me. I realize how this blog has changed since it's beginning. I mean last year I meshed with many of you....we were in the same season of life. Married, doing that domesticated mom and wife thing at home, raising kids, cookin' food, loving God and learning lessons. This year so much changed, yet so much has remained the same for me. I do live a different life now, which has caused my blog to change direction a bit. I'm not chatting with you girls about how great my husband is and our last date night we had anymore. So lately I come here to share with you...ME...my life...my real life, and I'm so thankful that you come here and read and walk with me on my journey....it blesses, humbles and wow's me!
Ok...now since it's Monday let's not talk about anything too serious kay?! Lemme just tell you a bit about those photos up there. #thatredcup....that amazing and beautiful red cup, I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot more of that thing. I seriously love it! I jokingly made an open request for someone to buy me these dishes that I feel in love with and felt my life would not be complete without, on facebook...only to be surprised by a friend with the whole dish set a week later! So when coffee time rolls around in the morning and I have to head out to work I choose to NOT use my traveler mug but use one of these coffee cups. Friday morning I laughed at myself as coffee spilled all over me going down the road...I wondered to myself why I don't use my traveler mug for the car...to which I quickly replied to myself because it's not pretty, and I like pretty! Priorities right!?!
Lastly, lemme just publicly say that it's possible I might be getting old.
Why? Because my jams....those songs that I still think are totally awesome are 10 plus years old...my son does not like listening to them, and instead turns on that "noisy" music! Lately I've been going back to those early days...my teen and young adult days with my music choices...going old skool?...since I guess Brandy, Nelly, Timberland and Christina Aguilera are now a thing of the past.{insert sad face here}Listening to music is something I haven't really done in a really long time...and I've missed it. I've missed these silly little songs. Listening to this music takes me back in time...kinda to the good old days. Days that were filled with silliness and an ease to them. Happy times spent with friends doing silly things or nothing at all. So thank you Miss Aguilera, Beyonce and Lil Kim for helping me get that booty movin' a bit in the morning!
