The last moment...

Today I'm really excited about beginning to write this post! The reason being that I'm about to take the opportunity to dive into, and take some time to remember my last moment I felt really, truly blissful!

This post is in response to a blogging challenge that I came across recently, and because taking the time to reflect on something that made me feel really blissful is never a bad idea in my book...I've decided to jump in to this topic!

Soo, this wasn't something that I had to think long and hard on {thank God!} and I think it's because my overall outlook is to find your pleasure in the smallest of things. I mentioned in this post my love for cooking, and then I mentioned in this post that since my separation my dinners have looked less like pinterest and more like a TV dinner! But cooking is something that makes my heart truly happy. It had been a while since I felt I've really cooked, so Monday I decided I was gonna cook, and cook I did!
As evening settled in I whipped up a batch of cocoa for my son and I, and went to slicing and dicing! I prepared a little of this and a little of that...as I didn't start out with a clear direction of what would be...the mission only was: TO COOK! I was probably in my kitchen for a good two hours that evening and I loved every moment of it!  My son was on the couch doing homework and while I want to say he was sipping his cocoa, it was more like gulping and I did the sipping! This evening was a night to take it all in, every last bit of it. I was in my own home, every need was taken care of, my son and I were together, and I was doing something I loved...My heart was full....
and then my tummy was too!
